June, from my phone.

Oh, yikes. I’ve been pretty absent from this blog lately. But not on purpose! I’ve been seriously cleaning our apartment, and it feels like an episode of Hoarders to me. I know that I am not a hoarder, but whenever I go through our closets, I feel like one. They’re a mess.
Anyway, these are some select photos from my phone in June. Our AC was out for about a week, and I wanted to die. So, yes, three of these photos are just shots of our thermostat. You need to understand that I am not good with heat. I just can’t handle it. I’m not built for it. I hate it so much that the entire month of June was simply eclipsed by that one solid week without air conditioning. So… Yes, just deal with those three photos of our thermostat with the ominous “MALF” warning on its tiny screen.
I’m ready to leave the South. Who is going to pay me to move back North? Anyone?
I will be back to posting regularly this week. In the meantime, if you’ve missed any articles over on LA Family, you should check them out now. Here’s a link to my landing page.
I love that the thermostat photos were followed by a Starbucks hot cup.
Also…I should probably clean all the things in my house. Ugh.
Haha! I know.. I’m turning into my grandmother. Only hot drinks from here on it. Actually, it’s more about the fact that I would be too ashamed to order a frappuccino.
Pretty great phone photos! Do you use instagram filters?
It’s been pretty ridiculously hot here as well, so I can definitely empathize with a low level of functioning this month. I have high hopes for the rest of the summer though!
Thanks, Jessica! I use a combination of Instagram and VSCO filters on my phone.
I’m glad you understand about the heat… Here’s hoping everything cools off just enough that I want to spend time outside again!
Ugh… I can’t stand to drink hot coffee unless it’s about 20 degrees outside. Obviously I’m not built for hot climates either.
I don’t know what made it ok that day, but it must just be that I am starting to turn into my grandmother. I guess I better prepare myself for a more active social life than I have now!
