More margaritas, please.

Our Memorial Day was fairly uneventful, but it is already too hot in Kentucky. We spent as much time as we could inside, hung some outdoor shades, and visited with my mom. It was exactly how I invision spending all of my days off.
After visiting with my mom, I met my good friends Sabrina and Annie at our favorite Mexican restaurant for two-for-one margaritas and a bunch of good laughs. The food there is great, but I think we keep returning for the margaritas. I’m hoping this summer will bring a little more free time to hang out with the two of them, and maybe they can even help keep me on a steady workout schedule. (Annie is a Zumba instructor, so she’s basically got us all beat on that front.)
Seeing Sabrina and Annie is just a great reminder that I’ve made some really amazing friends in my life, and that none of them are afraid to make fun of me for breaking my ankle a million times. I can’t believe we’ve known each other for about eight years… And that we’re still excited by a two-for-one margarita deal. (Some things never change, I guess.)
I’m determined to catch up on my Google Reader queue this week. I feel like I haven’t read anyone else’s blog in weeeeeks, but am determined to remedy that.

By the way, have you checked out LAFamily.com lately? I’ve had a few more articles published, and I even have my own landing page now. My articles publish every Friday now, so make sure you make it one of your stops at the end of your work week. Comment/like/rate/tweet/share and there will be cupcakes in it for you!
The margarita craving is all up ins my house! I think a weekly holiday is in order…Margarita Mondays!
Have I ever told you that I love the way you think? Does this mean we can just take every single Monday off from now on? Please?
I’m down for that. There’s really no need for me to work on any given Monday, so there might as well be tequila involved.
Man. Everyone I know is so willing to skip work in favor of drinking! Life is gooood.
